    Ben & Jerry:

Great show. Huge need in the digital world for critical engagement with all things Mexican. Love the music. Looking forward to hearing more from the guy with the funny accent (Prof. Smith, I presume), and also to more Spanish. Charles Ramirez Berg was a good first guest. Hasta la victoria siempre.

  2. Mexican and Chicano Cinema Says:

The podcast was very interesting but it was not as informive as i thought it would be. It still left we with the question how have mexican and chicano cinema made an impact on our society. I know that there are very famous actors from mexico like Maria Elen Velasco better know as “la india Mairia), Mario Moreno (Cantinflas), Vicente Fernandez, and so many more. However here in the United States there were no mexican actors or actresses. there was stereotypes toward mexicans and it never aquired to Hollywood to put mexicans in films. Salma Hayek is a famous actress that is very know and today like her many different actors ar getting noticed. Mexican actors and actress are getting recoginized for their work now. Like movies Sky Kids, Amores Perros, pance laboriet, and Bajo la misma luna! Hollywood is realizing that the latino population is growing and they need to satisfy the majority.
